AustCham Shanghai

Founded in 1994, AustCham Shanghai is a bridge between Australian and Chinese organizations, facilitating connectivity and promoting bilateral trade between Australia and China.

As the trading relationship has evolved beyond energy and resources to encapsulate a wide variety of sectors, AustCham Shanghai has also grown to represent businesses in every sector, from manufacturing to health and aged care, to education and financial services. The Chamber successfully links Australian orgnaisations with Chinese counterparts and potential business partners, enhancing the trade relationship between the two countries.

AustCham Shanghai exists only to serve its members. Today, our Chamber brings business community together through membership services, events, delegations, project management, representation, and advocacy. The Chamber also undertakes significant fundraising efforts to support our Corporate Social Responsibility partners each year, having raised over RMB 5,000,000 over the past 20 years.

AustCham Beijing

The Australian Chamber of Commerce in Beijing (AustCham Beijing) was founded in 1996 and has as its goal the advancement of the broader Australia-China business relationship through the effective representation of its 250 members. They achieve this through building connections between their members and broader stakeholders in Australia and China, delivery of effective advocacy programs and provision of information and insights through their business events and online platform.

All AustCham Beijing events have a strong industry focus. They release White Papers and industry specific position papers throughout the year, an important medium for communicating member priorities. The Chamber regularly engages with government and other key stakeholders on issues of concern to members, and actively contributes to the public debate.

One of AustCham Beijing’s top priorities is to invest in future business leaders. They run unique programs for students of Australian universities and recent graduates which provide opportunities for work experience, mentoring and cultural training.
